Serve your party and state by becoming an election judge.
CD3 asks party members who express an interest in the voting process to become an election. Election judges serve 'in precincts on Election Day administering the polling process and ensuring fair elections. State law permits employees to take time from work without loss of pay to serve as election Judges. You can express interest in serving as an election judge at your precinct caucus or by contacting the Senate District office at any time. Those *indicating an interest by June 1, have the best chance of being selected. Party balance among the polling place workers ensures fairness; therefore, the law requires that election judges declare party affiliation.
How to become election judge:
Attend your precinct caucus and ask to be placed on the party list of election judge recruits.
Or, contact the senate district office before July 1.
Or, call the city's clerks office after July request appointment as an election judge
Then, if appointed, attend training provided by the city clerk's office.
Serve on the September Primary Day and November Election Day. You also may be asked to serve at special elections.
