2009 State Fair Booth Guidelines

(Location: 1702 Carnes Ave. Near the Intersection of Carnes Ave & Underwood St) 

The CD 3 Day at the Minnesota State Fair is Monday August 29. We need CD3 Volunteers to sign up for 4 hour shift:

• 9AM-1PM
• 1PM-5PM
• 5PM-9PM

Most important: Have Fun! This is a very fun and easy way to help the party get ready for the 2012 elections.

Admission: Every volunteer must pay admission (and parking) each day of the fair. If you sign up for and complete a four-hour shift at the RPM booth, you will receive reimbursement for your admission at the advance ticket rate. Advance tickets are available at the State Fair, metro area Cub stores, and many other locations throughout the state. To find a location, visit www.mnstatefair.org

Tasks: Make sure the booth stays clean and materials are restocked (stored under the counters).
Talk to visitors when they come in by asking them:

• If they would like to enter the drawing
• If they are registered to vote
• If they would like to sign a petition

Don’t worry about being able to answer every question that may be asked. State Party staff will assist with assigning volunteers and give instructions on volunteer tasks.

We need 12-15 CD3 volunteers for each four-hour shift.
