Minnesota Police Groups Endorse Erik Paulsen for Re-Election

Eden Prairie, MN – Three major law enforcement organizations – the Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association, the Police Officers Federation of Minneapolis, and the Fraternal Order of Police – today endorsed Representative Erik Paulsen for re-election to Congress.

“I am humbled and honored to receive endorsements from these three law enforcement organizations,” said Paulsen. “When I was elected to Congress in 2008, I put police and public safety issues at the top of my legislative agenda. The first Congressional caucus I joined was the Law Enforcement Caucus and I have made it a priority to assure our men and women in uniform that they have no stronger advocate in Congress than me.”

Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association:
“Erik Paulsen has been a champion for Minnesota law enforcement since his first day on the job in Congress. Erik is always willing to listen to the concerns of Minnesota police officers and we look forward to working with him in the coming years,” said Dennis Flaherty, Executive Director of MN Police and Peace Officers Association.

Police Officers Federation of Minneapolis:
“Erik Paulsen is a friend to Minneapolis police officers and his work on behalf of law enforcement officials everywhere is invaluable. We proudly endorse his re-election to Congress,” said John Delmonico, President of the Police Officers Federation of Minneapolis.

Fraternal Order of Police:
“Erik Paulsen’s legislative record on public safety issues is what sets him apart from other candidates and members of Congress. We are proud to endorse his re-election campaign,” said Gary Cayo, President of Minnesota Fraternal Order of Police.
