Commissioner Randy Johnson, Hennepin County District 5 District 5 includes the cities of Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Richfield, and a portion of Chanhassen, with a total population of approximately 160,000 people. Commissioner Johnson was first elected by the District in 1978.
Commissioner Johnson is Chair of the County Board for 2006 and also served as Chair in 2005-2004 and 1997 - 2010

Commissioner Jeff Johnson, Hennepin County District 7 Commissioner Jeff Johnson represents Hennepin County's 7th District, which stretches from the Mississippi River on the north across and down the western portion of the county to the border with Carver County on the southwest. With a total population of approximately 160,000 people, the 7th District includes Champlin; Corcoran; Dayton; Greenfield; the township of Hassan; Independence; Loretto; Maple Grove; Maple Plain; Medina; Minnetrista; Mound; Rogers; St. Bonifacius; Spring Park; and portions of Hanover, west Orono, northwest Plymouth and Rockford.
Commissioner Johnson was elected in November 2008 and took office in January 2009.

Sheriff Richard Stanek, Hennepin County Sheriff Stanek is a 24-year veteran of law who earned several promotions for his determination and passion for public safety, rising through the ranks of the Minneapolis Police Department. Prior to being elected as the Sheriff of Hennepin County he served the Minneapolis Police Department as Commander of the Criminal Investigations Division, overseeing investigations in the areas of Homicide, Robbery, Assault, Family Violence, Organized Crime, Narcotics, Gangs and Sex Crimes.
A five-term legislator in the Minnesota House of Representatives, he Chaired the House Crime Policy and Finance Committee. The Sheriff has also managed the largest law enforcement agency in the state when, in 2003, he was appointed Minnesota's Commissioner of Public Safety and Director of Homeland Security.
